BSQ Solar participated as an exhibitor in the 6th annual edition of Solaire Expo Maroc, held from 21st to 23rd of February in Casablanca. This event is considered the most important B2B platform of solar energy and energy efficiency in Morocco. It is organized under the patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, and the seals of the Ministry of Energy, Mines, Water and Environment and the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Executive Training. In the current edition it recorded 78 exhibitors and 4961 visitors mainly from Morocco, France, Spain, Germany, Turkey, Mauritania, Ivory Coast, Tunisia, Algeria, Italy, Portugal and Belgium.
BSQ’s booth was one of the main attractions at the exhibition, and was highlighted by the organization’s post show report and the different media that covered the event.

“…Autre exposant dont le stand draine des visiteurs, l’espagnol BSQ Solar qui présente une solution à haute concentration photovoltaïque basée sur des cellules multi-union à efficacité pouvant aller jusqu’à 44%. Une fois installé, le module occupe une surface de 1m2, qui génère 300 W/m2 et qui a un rendement de 30%. La technologie est développée et fabriquée dans son usine de Madrid. «La densité de puissance de notre technologie atteint à peu près le double de la photovoltaïque conventionnelle. Une production d’énergie journalière de 2 à 3 fois plus importante que d’autres systèmes», signale Daniel Gomez Ocana, Business Development manager chez BSQ Solar. Actuellement, l’espagnol développe un projet avec l’Université Al Akhawayn portant sur la démonstration de cette technologie.”
During those three days, businessmen, high-level experts, academics, students and consumers highly interested in solar energy and energy efficiency, visited BSQ’s booth wanting to learn about BSQ’s HCPV and its deployment in Morocco.
