The SME instrument Grant, awarded to BSQ’s initiative, entitles to receive innovation and business coaching to:
• Enhance the company’s innovation capacity
• Align the project to the identified business development strategy
• Develop the commercial/economic impact and long-term sustainability.
Coaches provided are selected by the Enterprise Europe Network (http://een.ec.europa.eu/)
Juan José Marcos, selected by BSQ out of a list of suggested candidates, is a seasoned and successful entrepreneur, with a sound technical background in engineering, large experience in the field of renewable energies, and in industrial sectors with strong synergies in automobile, construction and distribution. On the financial side, he has direct experience in the management of M&A and private equity funds.
Generally speaking, he brings to BSQ Solar his long experience in general management, negotiation, and business development with an outstanding global and strategic vision.
Juan José holds an MSc degree in Industrial Engineering by Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) and an MBA from Instituto de Empresa (IE Business School) where he presently performs as a mentor in its Venture Lab.
