We design and produce customized HCPV systems with reduced heigth and/or enhanced landscape type aspect ratios. These are optimal for installations and power plants were visual impact has to be reduced due to environmental reasons.

CPV for urban spaces
CPV Designs for urban integration
BSQ Solar can provide custom made HCPV system designs specially devised for installation in urban areas. The trackers here include larger poles, large enough to allow transit of people and vehicles underneath the HCPV array.
Can be integrated in parking areas, public or even domestic gardens, they are ideal to tap HCPV’s superior surface energy density – up to three times bigger than that of conventional photovoltaics – in cities with scarce and expensive land.

These laboratory trackers are something unique in the market as they combine very high subdegree sun tracking accuracies, with a sturdy tracking structure with aperture surfaces of as much as 25m2, especially designed for holding different models of CPV or PV modules of different sizes and manufacturers:

BSQ CPV Sun Tracking Control Unit
BSQ Sun Tracking Controller (STCU) uses ephemeris based open loop tracking plus a proprietary autocalibration model the BSQ Sun Tracking Control Unit achieves 0.1 degree pointing accuracy
- 2σ (percentile 97) accuracy of 0.1°
- Universal controller for one or two axis trackers with any tracking axes architecture
- Large track record proves reliability under harshest weather conditions
